Brittney White

9D BREATH-WORK FACILITATOR

Brittney is a dedicated professional with a diverse background in psychology, pastoral care, and counselling. Holding degrees from the University of Alberta in Psychology and a Masters of Divinity with a specialization in Pastoral and Spiritual Care and Counselling, she has extensive experience working with high-risk populations, particularly individuals struggling with addictions, mental health (suicide) and domestic violence.

Her passion for humanitarian work led her to support an HIV orphanage in Sumpango, Guatemala through developing a sponsorship program for children living with HIV where she dedicated 12 years of her life, dividing her time between Canada and Guatemala.

Additionally, Brittney has served as an inner-city and youth counsellor for high-risk teens in various organizations and prison facilities.

She has also held roles as a spiritual director, program director, residence director, sessional professor, board chair of the University of Alberta Interfaith Chaplains and Dean of Student Services at the University of Alberta's SJC.

Beyond her professional achievements, Brittney is a mother of two children and a devoted caregiver to her Australian Shepherd, Ellie.

Her multifaceted career and compassionate spirit reflect her commitment to improving the lives of others and creating positive change in her community and beyond.
