Introducing Balanced: An Empowerment Group for Moms

Have you posted anonymously in a moms’ group on social media seeking advice or friendship? Have you answered those anonymous posts? If you answered yes to either of these questions then Balanced is the group for you!

Motherhood is a beautiful journey, but it can also be overwhelming and isolating. Balanced is a new in-person moms’ group designed to provide support, personal growth, and genuine connections. Whether you’re a new mom or a seasoned parent, this circle is a space to share wisdom, grow as individuals, and connect with other moms.

Why Join Balanced?

  • Share Wisdom: A safe, judgment-free space to ask questions, exchange stories, tips, and experiences with other moms.

  • Personal Growth: Focus on rediscovering yourself, find balance, and learn about true self-care.

  • Friendship and Connection: Build authentic relationships with moms who understand the ups and downs of motherhood.

What to Expect

These meet-ups are casual and welcoming. Our conversation is open and there is no pressure to contribute if you just want to enjoy the atmosphere. Conversation may be initiated and guided by our Certified Life Coach, Lydia Duncan, as needed. In the past, our discussions have covered an incredible range - sometimes all in one session! For example, we’ve talked about:

  • How to advocate for our children

  • What hobby should I try next

  • Navigating Post-Secondary school for our kids and even ourself

  • Having difficult conversations with friends and spouses

  • What is everyone reading or watching right now

We designed Balanced to work into the lives of moms who have kids in school or daycare. While we love kids, this is a child-free group. Our first meeting is October 3rd at 1:30pm. Come as you are and be part of a supportive community where you can thrive as both a mom and a person.
